"There are no half measures with
Anita. She is an all or nothing girl. But Anita has a problem - she is
passionate about too many things. Anita loves the beach and attractive
guys but she had never met a guy who didn't become boring after the first
thirty seconds ... at least, not until she met Drazic - her true love.
The one thing Anita is not passionate
about is schoolwork. Anita is a bright student, bright enough to have worked
out at an early age that study is for the unimaginative. Generally, Anita
gets by with an occasional glance at her homework. In the past, when serious
assignments had to be done, Anita knew she could rely on a tried and true
study technique: get her friend Melanie to do it for her.
Anita lives at home with mother,
Hillary. Anita and Hillary are tight, a team. The only problem at home
is Anita's brother, Ryan. As far as Anita is concerned, Ryan is a pain
in the neck...and just about every other part of the body. To make matters
worse, she is studying for her HSC in the same class as him!!"
*What
I say about her*:
Anita Sheppers is, first of all,
a lively and attractive girl. She's rather popular, and seems no to do
anything for it ( unlike her friend Melanie). She tries to please everyone,
but when she wants something she uses whatever means to get it, because
she's passionate. And if people disagree with her, she doesn't care. That's
why she is going out with Drazic in spite of the backbiters. She's always
game for helping the other, going to parties and doing anything to break
the routine. That's one of the things she hates the most, living a mo,otonous
life. Anita doesn't like when all is planned, and certainely not if someone
does it instead of her! We all remember when Kurt managed a week-end for
Anita and him...!
More over, Anita is frank and open.
She's not influenced by anything or anyone, and knows how to say what she
juges important for her or her circle.
Drazic said at the beginning of
their story that she was one of these girls who find life beautiful, who
like everyone and who are liked by everyone. But it's false. Behind a candid
person and a rather easy way of life, Anita has got problems. She's not
a trendy who only talks about trivialities. Her parents are divorced, and
she has lived a hard period. Sometimes she reminds the time when the Sheppers
made a united family. They were living in Stockton near Newcastle.
Now Hilary, Ryan and her live in Sidney, and Jeff remakes his life. Further
in the series, we learn that she's got a little brother, John.
*Anita's circle*
MUM
Hilary is certainly the perfect
mother. She loves dearly her children, take care of them. She is authoritary
enough to run the house.
RYAN
Her brother seems to be a ?but in fact he's very protective. He cares
about Anita.
DRAZIC
Her long-date bofriend: Drazic
Bogdan (Drazic is his last name, for the ones who didn't know it!).
Everyone knows him as a bad boy,
who doesn't care about anything. He's used to make the clown in class,
impress the weak and rule the basketball pitch! Anita is the first person
who knows how to stand up to him. But she learns that he's not impervious
to criticism, and to what people think about him. Anita feels an unexpected
tenderness towards this stormy, aggressive and touchy guy. Drazic really
fell in love with her. They have been going out together 4 times. At the
end, Drazic asks her to marry him...This is a beautiful love story, with
its braks and reconciliations.
